
Aiman Iqbal
Aiman Iqbal is a graduate of Nur ul Ilm Academy (Australia), having completed the Arabic and Shariah Law Program in 2022. He is a qualified Accounting and Finance professional, holding the ACCA, CIA, and CMA designations. Currently based in the UAE, he serves as a Director in a multinational company.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Aiman teaches Arabic language of Qur’an and Hadith, Shariah Law, and Arabic to youth at Nur ul Ilm Institute. He also leads the media activities of the institute and contributes to its administrative, human resource, and finance operations.

Alia Malik
Alia Malik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in English Literature. Before pursuing Islamic studies, she worked as an elementary school teacher and volunteered at a charity school. She completed the Alimiyyah program with Nur ul Academy in 2021.
Alongside managing educational programs, Alia currently teaches Tafseer, Hadith, Shariah Law, Seerah, and Life Management at Nur ul Ilm Academy in Islamabad. She also conducts engaging classes for youth and young children and has delivered motivational talks at several colleges across Islamabad.

Asma Shaikh
Asma Shaikh holds a Bachelor’s degree (with distinction) and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications. She has also completed an Alimiyyah program in Classical Arabic Sciences and Shariah Law, and is currently specializing in Quranic studies. With her diverse background, Asma teaches Arabic Language, Arabic of Hadith, management and training courses, as well as youth programs at the Institute.

Evita Khan
Evita Khan holds a double degree in Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and Bachelor of Laws, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007. In 2015, she also completed the Alimiyyah program with Nur ul Ilm Academy.
She is the principal and co-founder of Nur ul Ilm Academy in Sydney, where she leads a range of Islamic courses for women. She also oversees the Hubb program for teenage girls, a youth initiative, and Kahf—an early childhood initiative that nurtures Islamic values through play-based learning for preschoolers.

Muhammad Adeel
Muhammad Adeel is a graduate of the Arabic and Shariah Law Program from Nur ul Ilm Academy (Australia), completed in 2020. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IQRA University, Pakistan. Currently based in Dubai, he has served as the Regional Head of IT for a multinational company.
Alongside his professional career, Adeel maintains a strong commitment to Islamic learning and community engagement. He is actively involved in managing academic operations at the men’s branch of Nur ul Ilm in Dubai.

Reem Abbasi
Reem Abbasi has completed her Alimiyyah program with Nur ul Ilm Academy. Alongside managing events, she teaches Qur’an Tafseer, Seerah, and Shariah Law at Nur ul Ilm Academy in Islamabad. She also holds a certification in Islamic Psychology and Counselling.
She leads the NUI Hubb youth program and has delivered numerous sessions and workshops focused on youth development. Reem is also a certified Jewelry Professional (GIA), runs her own designer jewellery brand, and previously served as President of the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She remains actively involved in humanitarian efforts across Pakistan.

Wasiq Ali
Wasiq Ali is a seasoned professional in Islamic finance, with over two decades of experience across leading local and international institutions, including Meezan Bank (Pakistan), Dubai Islamic Bank Group, and Standard Chartered Saadiq.
He holds a BBA and MBA in Finance from IBA Karachi and is a CFA charterholder. Alongside his academic and professional pursuits, he has also completed the Alimiyyah program with Nur ul Ilm Academy.
Wasiq has previously taught at IBA Karachi and SZABIST Dubai, combining his deep understanding of finance and Islamic scholarship in both academic and industry settings.

Zaheeda Sakhawat
Principal of the Light of Knowledge Institute (LOK Coventry, UK), a branch of Nur ul Ilm Academy, Zaheeda Sakhawat brings over 20 years of leadership and community service experience. A former Civil Service manager and recipient of an MBE from Queen Elizabeth II, she completed her Alimiyyah and Ifta studies with Nur ul Ilm Academy. Since 2015, she has been actively teaching and managing religious courses both locally in the UK and internationally. In 2021, she began leading the Light of Knowledge Institute, which is now launching its first Youth Centre. She continues to serve globally through religious rulings, counselling, and advanced Arabic instruction.
